Hope Solo pleads guilty at driving while under the influence
Hope Solo, U.S. soccer's star, has pleaded guilty intoxicated driving. Forsyth County judge gave Solo suspended sentences, an active sentence for 30 days and a substance abuse evaluation. The judge gave Solo credit for time she spent in a rehab facility. The sentence includes a $2,500 penalty and the requirement for Solo to complete an assessment on substance abuse.

In a Walmart parking space, she was arrested
Hope Solo's arrest in Winston-Salem Walmart parking lot, North Carolina has made her a news figure for several reasons. The mother of two was arrested for driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest. Along with these charges, she was also accused of misdemeanor abuse child. Witnesses saw Hope Solo lying in her driver's seat, while she was driving. Officers pulled Solo over. Solo and her two children, who were both asleep in the backseat, witnessed the incident.
She was charged with misdemeanor child abuse
Hope Solo, former goalkeeper for the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team, was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI), resisting police arrest and misdemeanor abuse of children. Further investigation revealed that Solo was also charged for misdemeanor abuse of children. Solo is accused of involvement in domestic violence. Solo was also charged with misdemeanor child abuse.

Hope Solo, a former member of the U.S. Women's National Team, was expelled for 30 days in 2016 after she was arrested in 2014 on two counts each of domestic violence. The result of an altercation she had with her half-sister (now 17 years old) and her nephew (17 years old). She will be eligible to participate in the USWNT's February match again. Following reports that Solo had a drinking problem, Solo was reported to have been intoxicated while driving in a U.S. soccer vehicle.

She has been in several encounters with law enforcement
The retired soccer player Hope Solo has had a series of run-ins with law enforcement. She was arrested in 2014 for assault and misdemeanors. Although she pleaded not guilty, the charges were eventually dismissed due to procedural violations. Kirkland dropped domestic abuse charges against Solo earlier in the year. Meanwhile, Solo denied all accusations.
