At the age of eighteen, she won the Women's PGA Championships in Toronto and was selected to represent Canada at the 2016 Olympics. She finished seventh in Rio's women's tournament. She holds the record for most LPGA Tour victories by a Canadian. She will win her tenth LPGA Tour event in April 2021. Since 2015, Henderson won an LPGA event each year.

Brooke Henderson has now won three LPGA Tour titles with her win in Canada. After winning the LOTTE Championship last year, she won the Meijer Classic and the McKayson New Zealand Open in June. Her victory set a new Canadian record for the most LPGA Tour victories, beating Michelle Wie and Lexi Thompson by two strokes each. The Bobbie Rosenfeld Award is the LPGA's highest honor.
