Jessica Eye was ranked number one at women's flyingweight, moving eight spots.

Jessica Eye is making a big career turnaround. Her rank as the top flyweight contender is number one in the UFC rankings. This weekend she will take on Cynthia Calvillo who is number two in the flyweight division. Eye has had to overcome many obstacles in her life including an abusive father and a horrible accident as a teenager. But she has never lost her determination to her craft. It's obvious that she's well-prepared for her biggest fight yet.

Eye's victory at UFC 238 made her number one in women's flyweight. Her win over Joanne Calderwood in the UFC 238 was the most important reason for her rise. She spoke to the media backstage about why she felt she should be the number-one contender after the fight. She feels like she has the skills and the experience to be a top contender at 125 pounds. She has been victorious in four of her fights.

Nina Ansaroff moved up two spots to number two contender at women's featherweight

After losing her first two UFC fights in a controversial fashion, Nina Ansaroff is back on a four-fight winning streak. American Top Team member, Nina Ansaroff will face Tatiana Suarez in a strawweight bout. This fight is expected to be a major move. After winning four straight fights, Ansaroff will look to become the first woman to fight as the co-main event in a UFC event.

Holly Holm is the most popular fighter in the women’s division of featherweight without a title. Although she was a skilled striker, she couldn't find the right formula to succeed at 145 pounds. Yana Kunitskaya fell to Cris Cborg last year but won Invicta FC the bantamweight title. Raquel P'aluhi beat Yana Kunitskaya last year and she is now the number 2 contender at women’s breastweight.

Sergei Pavlovich is now number five

Sergei Pavlovich climbs up the UFC rankings, following a win against Magomed Ankalaev in UFC 277. The UFC takes a number of different factors into account when determining rankings, including wins and losses, quality of competition, and frequency of fights. Below is a list of the most recent rankings.

Pavlovich has won four consecutive UFC fights since losing to Alistair Overeem in her debut four years ago. Her greatest knockout was against Derrick Lewis at UFC 277. She had Lewis badly hurt and would have stopped him in round 2.

Jessica Eye is now number one at women's flyingweight, moving up eight places

Jessica Eye was a title contender and has been able use her move to flyweight in order to take on many top contenders. Shevchenko beat Eye via a vicious headkick in UFC 238's co main event. Eye has now won three straight fights. She has also moved up eight spots on the rankings. She will be facing Cynthia Calvillo who struggled to gain weight at 115 lbs.

Eye has overcome many obstacles on her way to this point. She's had many injuries and lost her father early in life. Due to a blood clot in her left knee, she was forced to miss several fights. Despite these setbacks she showed that she is capable to beat top flyweights all over the world.
