Jennifer Kupcho wins Meijer LPGA Classic
Simply Give's charity partner, Meijer LPGA Classic, is thrilled by Jennifer Kupcho’s win at Meijer LPGA Classic. She had a difficult start, missing a two-foot birdie putt on her first hole. But she recovered and made birdies on the back nine to win. Kupcho won her second LPGA major title.

Kupcho was now three shots behind overnight leader after making an early double bogey of the third. After her third shot went into the wrong rough, Kupcho recovered and made birdie on the par-5 eighth. Kupcho shot a 72 and birdied the par-five 8th hole on the last day. Maguire, who was ahead of Kupcho, shot 65 and made birdies at the 18th, setting a clubhouse record of 18 below par.
Nelly Korda defends title
Nelly Corda will defend her Meijer LPGA Classic championship title this weekend. The tournament has one the strongest fields of women's LPGA players. With a purse value of $2.5million, nine of 10 Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings are included in this tournament. The winner will get $375,000 in compensation for her efforts.
After a slow start, Korda performed admirably this week. She putt a 22-foot eagle on the last hole, and she finished at 18 under 198. Her performance at Meijer LPGA Classic is impressive considering that she has been on the tour for just four months. But she will have to compete against Jennifer Kupcho, who is coming off her first LPGA Tour win.

Meijer LPGA Classic will feature nine of the most prominent women golfers on the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings. The tournament has a $2.5 million purse and a $375,000 prize. Past champions include Jessica Korda and Nelly Korda.

Kupcho won for the second consecutive year the 2022 Meijer LPGA Classic. After scoring birdies on the second and eighth holes, Kupcho was able to defeat Nelly Korda, the defending champion. Her birdie on the second hole in the playoff gave her the win and her second career LPGA win.
