The U.S. Women's National Team selected Alex Morgan to the team last year, and he has performed well in the USWNT since. His recent form has come as a result of his ability to capitalize on time in the final third, which he has done admirably in San Diego. Although his last season's goal against Orlando City SC was not satisfactory, he is now content to play in front his hometown crowd in San Diego.
They are currently in playoff contention in their inaugural season. But they are far from done. The Wave are currently at the top of the NWSL standings with Alex Morgan leading the league with 11 goals from ten matches. Morgan is a Southern Californian, and has appeared in two NBA games as well as three MLS games. Morgan has already made an impact and will continue to make it in his second season as pro.

Western New York Flash
Alex Morgan, a US soccer player, is a skilled one. She has been awarded the Olympic Gold Medal 2012 and FIFA Women's World Cup 2015. Morgan started playing soccer at the age of seven with Cypress Elite Soccer Club in California. After high school, Morgan joined the California Golden Bears. Morgan was drafted as a Western New York Flash player in the 2011 WPS Draft. Her contributions to the team's championship win were significant. Morgan has also represented West Coast FC (Portland Thorns FC) and Portland Thorns FC. Alex Morgan was the youngest woman to ever represent the US women's team in soccer during the FIFA Women's World Cup 2011. She is now the Flash's forward.
Alex is not only a player in the National Women's Soccer League but she is also a successful college student. She was selected by the Western New York Flash as a freshman, but later married Servando Carrasco. Morgan played four years for the University of California Golden Bears. She was the team's top scorer during each of those seasons. While at college, she missed several games to play for the U.S. U-20 national team. She was the first overall draft pick in the 2011 WPS Draft.

US Women's National Team
Alex Morgan, forward for the US Women's National Team has a rich soccer heritage. After playing nine minutes in the bronze match against the Netherlands at the 2008 Olympics, Morgan made her debut. Morgan has been a prominent player for the US national team and has been a major influencer. She is 32 years of age and was married in May 2020.
Morgan graduated at the University of California Berkeley early and joined the California Golden Bears. Morgan played soccer at the University of California at Berkeley. She graduated in a timely fashion. Later she joined Western New York Flash, where her draft spot was awarded. Since then, she has won two world titles for America and was voted the youngest member the national team in both 2011 and 2012. She scored the game-winning goal against Canada at the 2012 London Olympics.
