Julie Inkster

Julie Inkster won 1986 the first ShopRite LPGA Classic. This tournament, now in its 26th year, is one of the oldest on the LPGA Tour. Since then, only Anna Nordqvist has won back-to-back LPGA Tour events. Lee became the first LPGA Tour multi-winner this year and made over $11million in career earnings. Lee is the first female winner of back-to-back major championships since In Gee Chun.

Julie Boutier

Boutier took the Meijer LPGA Classic as her target and finished ninth at ShopRite LPGA Classic. Boutier went on to card a six-under-par 205 in the Chevron Championships, where she broke her streak of three consecutive 30s. Boutier also finished tied for 34th at the US Women's Open with a scoring average of 72.5. She was unable to make it to the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. The third-place finisher earned only $98,215. Her metrics for the next five year are impressive, however.

Mel Reid

After squandering a two-shot lead at the Portland Classic, Mel Reid has now won the Shoprite LPGA Classic. Ryan Desveaux, a six-time LPGA Tour champion, was praised by Reid for his heroics in the final round. The victory will be Reid's first major title since she debuted on the LPGA Tour. She is a top four seed in the KPMG Women's PGA Championship.

Albane Valenzuela

Albane Valenzuela is on her way towards a remarkable finish, having completed three rounds in the 60s & 70s to reach round four of the ShopRite LPGA Classic. Valenzuela was born and raised in New York. She is currently ranked 57th on the Race to CME Globe. This season, she has made five cuts.
