Manuel decided to go meet her at a local boxing gym. Manuel was instructed by an overzealous coach to spar with the girl. Manuel was also hit hard by the coach.
Manuel has only fought 3 times professionally. His first 2 bouts were amateur. The rest of his professional career was full with injuries. He's missed several fights due to back-to-back injuries, shifting priorities in the bureaucracy, and the pandemic. His promise to return to boxing is still unfulfilled.
