Delaware Blue Hens have won the Star Award

Three times, the Delaware Blue Hens' star defense earned All-American honors. Donne helped the Blue Hens reach the NCAA women's tournament last year and is currently 11th in scoring. Delaware basketball's greatest challenge is to show that its support staff is capable. After Elena Delle Donne, a star of Delaware basketball, was absent for the first few weeks the rest will have to prove themselves in the second. The team has several lines to fill, particularly in the first act, as the star will be sidelined due to Lyme disease.
