The title of the next UFC on ABC female flyweight champion has been up for debate for some time. It seems likely that the fights ahead will decide the winner, with many talented women in octagon. How do you decide which women will make it to the final cut? Jessica Penne, Claudia Gadelha, Araya Sage Gomez, Michelle Waterson, and others? Continue reading to find out more. This article will tell you more about these women, and what their possible enemies might be.

Claudia Gadelha

After back-to-back losses, Claudia Gadelha has now reached an agreement with Michelle Waterson to fight in a main event at UFC 233. The fight will take place on June 10 in New York City. The main event will be Waterson's third in the UFC. She is also first Black woman in the UFC to be the main event. Waterson and Hill met in May at Invicta FC.

The ringside judges disagree on Hill's superiority over Waterson. Hill has a 2-inch reach advantage, and is considered the superior striker. Waterson is less likely to fight in the pocket but is still more likely stand and trade. If Hill wins, she'll probably take the fight to the ground. Waterson's record, however, is impressive. Waterson has won nine of her ten fights by submission and averages 1.68 takesdowns per round.

Jessica Penne

A rematch between former UFC women's champ Michelle Waterson and aspiring star Jessica Penne is highly anticipated for fans of mixed martial arts. Penne called Waterson’s win against her last month a "fluke", while the Canadian veteran said she would fight her again. Waterson said that her win was not accidental and that she would be happy to prove it.

Penne fought Jessica Andrade in MMA earlier this year and lost via TKO in round 2. In the next year's MMA event, she lost to Danielle Taylor by TKO in round 2. Invicta FC strawweight champion Emily Ducote, Penne will face her next bout.

Araya Sage Gomez

Michelle Waterson's next fight will be with Araya Sage Gomez. The two met at the Albuquerque Hooters. Gomez was visiting Albuquerque from El Paso with his parents to see the Cowboys' game. Gomez was accompanied by his parents, who sat beneath a large poster featuring Waterson in a Hooters outfit. Gomez explained to his mother, "She was going be my future wife." They looked on as she took their order, laughing. Gomez's parents were hesitant to approach her, though, and they never spoke to her.

Michelle Waterson

Michelle Waterson was a former ring-girl and made a big splash on MTV/MTV2's reality show Bully Beatdown. She also has some interesting career paths. She was unsuccessfully qualified for the MTV reality contest "American Ninja Warrior." Waterson participated in a stunt competition to promote Natalie Portman's movie "Thor" in 2014. After a few months, Waterson made the switch to MMA and won the Invicta FC Atomweight title. Waterson defeated Tyra Parker by a rear-naked choke submission in her first professional fight. In 2008, Waterson also competed in MTV's "Fight Mom" reality show and fought for the special "Champions vs. Stars mini-series."
