Based on Malcolm III, the historical king of Scotland, the play is a retelling the Holinshed Chronicles, which is a history of Britain. Malcolm, the elder son of King Duncan, is the heir apparent to his father's throne. His two younger siblings are Donalbain & Macduff. Malcolm's ambition and impulsive behavior ultimately led to his downfall.

Characters
Dewey is the genius in "The Simpsons". This genius is often ignored by Malcolm but has a talent for music. He was also one of the youngest members of the group and had the best imagination. His decisions were based on his whims which led to some of the most shocking episodes. Erik Per Sullivan plays his character. Reese Malcolm’s closest friend is also a genius.
