LPGA Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions

The Diamond Resorts TOC event is a kick-off to the LPGA Season. John Smoltz of the Baseball Hall of Fame has won the tournament. The celebrity golf circuit is also a regular attendee of the event. Last year, 10 major champions played. The tournament also features a Celebrity Division as well as a Schedule of Events.

Division for celebrities

The Celebrity Division of Diamond Resorts Tournament has 53 celebrities competing for a $500,000 prize. The field includes Annika Sorenstam, a four-time major champion, John Smoltz, a former Atlanta Braves pitcher, and country singer/actor Cole Swindell. Sorenstam made her first public remarks during the week after receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Annika Sorenstam is an Australian tennis player and a well-known celebrity on the LPGA Tour. While she has been in several tournaments and partnered with her father in PNC Championship, she has never faced a current LPGA Tour player. She will be playing in Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions' Celebrity Division. Here, each celebrity will use their own ball and play in modified Stableford. They will then be paired together with LPGA pros in 72-hole strokeplay event.

Ticket packages

LPGA diamond resorts offer ticket packages that allow you to enjoy the game at a fraction of the cost. The tournament takes place annually in Florida. It is sponsored jointly by Diamond Resorts, the Insurance Office of America and the Insurance Office of America. The tournament attracts celebrities and top women golfers worldwide. This year's event will be held at Four Seasons Golf and Sports Club Orlando on January 16-18.


LPGA tournaments are available in several ticket packages. Prices range from $30 to $60 for a single day or up to $60 for a four-day pass. Diamond Resorts provides the Club 18 package, which is a way to upgrade your experience. This package includes a skybox for hole 18, a fully catered meal, a premium open-bar breakfast, and access two private evening events. Prices start at $3,000 for the Club 18 package.

Schedule

As the LPGA continues to rebuild, the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions is expected to dominate its schedule. This tournament will include 50 celebrity golfers. Some past attendees include Alfonso Ribeiro's Toby Keith, Grant Hill (Ray Allen), Ray Allen, Ray Allen, Marcus Allen, Marcus Allen, and Jerry Rice.

The Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions is held each January and will feature LPGA champions and celebrities. Gaby Lopez, a Mexican native, will be playing in the 2020 tournament. John Smoltz, a Hall of Fame pitcher won the celebrity division. He is expected to defend his title 2021.
