Claudia Gadelha
Following back-to-back defeats, Claudia Gadelha and Michelle Waterson have now agreed to a main event matchup at UFC 233. It will take place in New York City, on June 10. Waterson's third fight in the UFC will be Waterson’s main event. She is also the first Black woman to headline the UFC. Hill and Waterson met in May at InvictaFC.
The ringside judges are split on whether Hill or Waterson is better. Hill currently has a two inch reach advantage and is the better striker. Waterson, who hasn't fought for five years, is more likely to trade in the pocket and stand. Hill may win, and she will probably fight to the death. Waterson's record, however, is impressive. Waterson has won nine of her ten fights by submission and averages 1.68 takesdowns per round.

Jessica Penne
Fans of mixed martial arts are eagerly anticipating a rematch between Michelle Waterson, former UFC women’s champion and Jessica Penne. Penne called Waterson’s win against her last month a "fluke", while the Canadian veteran said she would fight her again. Waterson said that her win was not accidental and that she would be happy to prove it.
Earlier this year, Penne fought in an MMA event and lost to Jessica Andrade via TKO in the second round. The following year, Penne fought Danielle Taylor in an MMA tournament. She lost to Taylor via TKO in the second round. In her next bout, Penne will defend her Invicta FC strawweight title against the Invicta FC strawweight champion Emily Ducote.
Araya Sage Gomez
Michelle Waterson's next fight will be with Araya Sage Gomez. The two met at the Albuquerque Hooters. Gomez was visiting Albuquerque from El Paso with his parents to see the Cowboys' game. Gomez, his parents and a poster of Waterson was placed under their table. Gomez said to his mother that his future wife was her after they saw her. They looked on as she took their order, laughing. Gomez had her parents be hesitant about approaching her. She never spoke to them.
Michelle Waterson
Michelle Waterson, a former ring girl that made waves in the MTV/MTV2 reality series "Bully Beatdown", has made some interesting career moves. She was unsuccessfully qualified for the MTV reality contest "American Ninja Warrior." Waterson won a stunt competition in 2014 for Natalie Portman’s film "Thor". After a few months, Waterson made the switch to MMA and won the Invicta FC Atomweight title. In her first fight as a professional, Waterson submitted Tyra Parker with a rear-naked choke submission. In 2008, she also competed in the MTV reality show "Fight Mom" and fought on the special "Champions vs. Stars" mini-series.

Waterson (36) has a record that is 18-9-0. Three of her victories were knockouts, while nine others were submissions. She has fought 27 professional MMA matches. Waterson defeated Marina Rodriguez in her most recent fight in July 2015. She is based in Albuquerque and trains at Jackson-Wink MMA.
